Ashley Steffensen, L.Ac
Ashley is a licensed Acupuncturist within the State of Minnesota. She graduated from Bastyr University is 2015 with her Master’s in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. As well as being an acupuncturist, she is also a Diplomat of Chinese Herbal Medicine and a Reiki Master Practitioner.
She became interested in East Asian medicine after attending Spring Forest Qi Gong courses in her early twenties. After experiencing the amazing health benefits of QiGong she was inspired to pursue TCM. She continues to put a focus within her practice of acupuncture on concepts learned in QiGong such as; the inter-connectedness of emotions, spirit, and body and healing produced from natural sources.
Ashley specializes in chronic pain stemming from (or of) the neck and back, wrist, and foot pain. She also focuses on spiritual health and emotional healing in her practice. She utilizes techniques found within acupuncture that best suit each individual client, ranging from esoteric acupuncture, balance method, TCM, to the use of electro-acupuncture. She enjoy's sharing the healing powers of Chinese herbal medicine whenever she can.
Outside of the clinic, Ashley enjoys hiking, traveling, vegetable gardening, petting her two cats Thompson and Neph, talking (or arguing) TCM theory with her sister Katie, and swimming.
