Julie Lynch L.Ac.,D.OM.,Ma.Ac.
Julie graduated cum laude with a Master degree in Acupuncture from Northwestern Health Sciences University, after also studying at Academy of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Prior to studying Eastern Medicine, she received a bachelor's degree from the University of Minnesota. She is certified in acupuncture by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and licensed by the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice.
Julie currently treats patients at the Woodwinds HealthEast Campus and at NE Wellness, as often as she can. Previous experiences include providing prenatal care in birthing centers, managing her own small business adventures, and 10 years of experience as a certified massage therapist. Julie has achieved a 200 hour yoga teacher training certification which she uses to prescribe real-life exercises for her patients.
Other clinical experience includes internship rotations at Fairview Riverside Hospital, Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute, Pillsbury Integrative Community Clinic, and Salvation Army Harbor Lights.
Julie loves introducing new patients to this medicine. She has provided acupuncture in community settings at the MN State Fair, at the halfway point of the MS 150 Bike Ride, and in her own North Minneapolis neighborhood.
