Kamie Slegers is a highly respected advanced practitioner and yoga therapist renowned across Minnesota for her expertise. Her journey into yoga instruction began in 1996 in southwest Minnesota, where she first encountered the transformative power of yoga at Southwest State University. Having initially turned to yoga to rehabilitate injuries sustained during her collegiate volleyball days, Kamie swiftly recognized its potential to assist students and athletes recovering from injuries and individuals leading sedentary lifestyles.


Kamie's extensive knowledge, spanning Ayurvedic medicine, Marma therapy, and Cupping, equips her to provide personalized care to her students and clients. Her caregiving nature empowers even the most hesitant individuals to explore their true capabilities and achieve their full potential and optimal wellness. Armed with a B.S. in Exercise Physiology and Human Movement, Kamie's diverse training encompasses Ayurvedic Medicine, Yoga Therapy, herbal medicine, and Cupping therapy.


Continuing her educational journey, Kamie became an Ayurveda Practitioner 14 years ago and is pursuing her Master's in Herbalism. Drawing on her wealth of experience, she crafts workshops and programs covering various topics, from anatomy and structure to mental health concerns such as depression and anxiety. Kamie also consults with clients on lifestyle changes, women's health, weight management, fertility, and more.


Kamie's comprehensive training includes Ayurvedic Medicine, Yoga Therapy, Marma Therapy, Cupping Therapy, Prenatal Yoga, Meditation Therapy, Herbal Medicine, nutrition, cooking, and birth doula, with an ongoing commitment to learning. Her dharma (life purpose) is evident in her teaching, workshops, and events, where she imparts wisdom from her personal journey of healing and growth.


Kamie develops her own classes and workshops and has ventured into creating a line of herbal teas and recipes. Adding a unique touch to her practice, her certified therapy dog, Rufus, is a cherished presence at the clinic, offering additional comfort and joy to Kamie's students and clients. Kamie's journey is marked by a deep commitment to holistic well-being, and she continues to inspire others through her teachings and dedication to self-care practices.
